Yavapai College Board approves 2 percent property tax hike by a 3-2 vote

Retired area resident Kirk Storms addresses the Yavapai College District Governing Board during a truth in taxation hearing over the college's proposed 2 percent increase in the district's primary property tax levy. The public hearing took place on the college's Prescott campus Tuesday morning, May 8. The increase was approved by the board by a 3 to 2 vote.
