Hunter Tingey was arrested on June 14 for helping teen probationer Rylee Krueger from Prescott hide from authorities and find a ride to Phoenix.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) has yet to find a 16-year-old probationer who reportedly ran away from her home in the 3000 block of N. Highway 89 in Prescott on May 10. A nationwide probation violation warrant remains active on the girl, Rylee Krueger.

How Krueger disappeared, however, has been partly uncovered by detectives, YCSO said.

During an investigation, Hunter Tingey, 19, from Paulden admitted to helping Krueger first hide from authorities and then find a mode of transportation to Phoenix, YCSO said. Tingey was arrested in Paulden for these actions Thursday, June 14, on misdemeanor charges of hindering prosecution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was booked into the Yavapai County jail in Camp Verde, but was later released pending court proceedings.

“Anyone with information on Krueger’s whereabouts is urged to call their local law enforcement agency,” said YCSO spokesperson Dwight D’Evelyn. “Those who continue to hinder law enforcement efforts, or hide/harbor Krueger, are subject to arrest.”
