It was quite a turnout for the first event with the new Cordes Lakes Community Association board. Although there were more people than expected, the cooks kept up with the plates of spaghetti and only ran out of garlic bread. Several of the new board members were there for their first public appearance. They have also scheduled a “meet and greet” for Feb. 17, so they can make their presence known to the community.
The auction after dinner was interesting due to the varied items auctioned off, from a Bundt cake and trifle to vases and pillows. Any income was welcomed to help the association get back on its feet. It was good food, good friends, and, hopefully, doing well for the Community Association.
