Mike was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 11, 1949, and raised in Coolidge, Arizona.

Mike attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, graduating with a degree in Pharmacy in 1971. He enlisted in the Army National Guard, transferring to the Air National Guard, developing friendships he carried with him when moving to Prescott in 1971. He was employed as a pharmacist and built many relationships that have lasted a lifetime. In Prescott he built several businesses of which he was very proud. He served on several Board of Trustees including the Airport and YRMC.

He married Gayleen in 1997 with a ready-made family whom he accepted fully and with love.

Aside from his professional and civic responsibilities, Mike spent many happy hours with family and friends. In 2003 he relocated to Winslow, Arizona, employed by the AZ DOC with the Winslow Prison System and was an active member on the Board of Trustees for the local ELKS Club. Moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in 2005, he opened the pharmacy at Food City where he worked until his death at age 68. He was a mentor and friend to many.

Mike enjoyed boating, camping, hiking, off-road trail riding and piloting his plane, passing down his rich knowledge of the state to his children and grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Gayleen; and his children, Christine, Russell, Crystal and Arianne; six grandchildren; and his brother, Daniel (Lynn) of Oro Valley, Arizona. He will be missed by many.
