Corvette Foundation donates $9999

The Prescott Vette Sette Charitable Foundation, sponsors of the 11th Annual All Corvette Show in downtown Prescott has resulted in $9,999 being donated to three local nonprofit and educational organizations.

The Show, featuring 239 Corvettes displayed around the Courthouse Plaza Sept. 23 with a participant count of 300+ at the opening welcome reception at the Grand Highland Hotel Courtyard on the previous evening, featured music by Anton & Drew and security provided by the Arizona Rangers. Corvettes from eight different Corvette Clubs in the Phoenix, Las Vegas and Southern California areas as well as Utah came in support of the annual event.

On Dec. 6 Jay Lower, Foundation Chairman and Rick Grey President of the Prescott Vette Sette Corvette Club presented a check to Paul Kirchgraber, Executive Director of Yavapai College Foundation in the amount of $3,333 to support scholarships in the CTEC (career and technical education) program.

Later that afternoon a check was presented to A. J. Smith at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for scholarships through the AFROTC program there. A similar amount will also be presented to the U. S. Vets organization here in Prescott in support of their on-going programs supporting veterans in housing and job training locally.
