Letters: Another record year

Another record year

Editor:

The Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse held its 40th annual Scholars Need Dollars benefit and would like to say thanks again to all who supported our efforts through donations and especially to those who purchased tickets for another record breaking year. Throughout the years, the YCMSP has raised over $540,000 in educational grants for deserving students in Yavapai County.

The Posse would also like to thank the Prescott Adult Center and Meals on Wheels for working with us to host this great event. Special thanks to Chris and Brett and their crew from Texas Roadhouse for another great meal. The Posse also appreciates the many donations from the following: Perkinsville Meat Processors, Lloyds Liquor, Willow Lake Rock, Hensley Distributing, Palace Restaurant Saloon, Verde Canyon Railroad, Antelope Hills, Cliff Castle Casino, A Dog’s Life, Blue Hills Café, Owls Auto Body, Waffles-n-More, LaBruzza’s Italian Restaurant, Canyon Auto Repair, Aquarius Casino, Foxworth Galbraith, Precision Marble and Granite, Geoffrey’s Fine Jewelry, Ace Hardware Chino Valley, Galpin Ford, Mike Anderson, Builders First Source, The Hike Shack, K’s Lighting, Blind Brothers, Grand Canyon Railway, Gucamayas Restaurant, True Value, Prescott Gun Club, The Windsock Lounge, Pudge & Asti’s Sports Grill, and Chino Heating & Cooling.

A very special thank you to Bill and Merry Nebeker for their attendance at this year’s event and donation of yet another beautiful bronze! What a pleasure it was to have you there; the Posse cannot say enough for the continued support you have given us throughout the years. Once again, thank you to everyone for making this year’s event a great success!
