FLORENCE – Death row prisoner Graham S. Henry, 71, died in prison on Feb. 9 from apparent natural causes, according to the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Henry had been in prison since 1988, when he was sentenced to death in Mohave County for first-degree murder, kidnapping, theft and robbery.
He was convicted in the June 1986 murder of Roy Estes, an elderly Las Vegas man whose throat was slit and his body left in the desert.
Henry was in custody at the ASPC-Florence facility. All inmate deaths are investigated in consultation with the county medical examiner.
