The Launch Pad, a teen center in Prescott, is holding its fifth-annual fundraising event — Share the Love — Saturday at the Elks Theatre.

Approximately 100 members of the business community will ‘share the love’ with local youth by making donations to The Launch Pad, according to an email from the group.

The event — on the third floor of The Elks Theatre, 117 East Gurley St. — begins at 5 pm with cocktails from The Barley Hound, a wine tasting with Mickey Sarkett of Lloyd’s Liquors, and hors d’oeuvres by Chef Barry Barbe of El Gato Azul.

At 5:30 pm, teens from the Launch Pad will make a presentation. There will be music.

Sponsors for the event are Cody Anne and Michael Yarnes, “so all donations made at the event benefit The Launch Pad Teen Center,” the group’s email read.

Donations to the Launch Pad qualify for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, according to the group’s website.
