On Christmas Day just past, my wife and I, accompanied by a widow friend, had Christmas dinner as guests of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church near the airport in Prescott. This is something we have done several times the past few years, and it is something St. Luke’s has been sponsoring for many years as part of their “Don’t Spend Christmas Alone” service.
The church advertises this event and even provides transportation from downtown for those who don’t have a way to get there.
Our greatest appreciation, however, is for all those church members who dedicate their day to others. These folks are unfailingly gracious as they serve each and every guest.
They surely exhibit the love and teaching of Christ to all who enter their doors.
