Richard C. Strick

Richard C. Strick, age 79, of Prescott, Arizona, died on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at home. He was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to Richard and Catherine (Wagner) Strick.

He served in the Army from 1958-1960. After returning, he married his love, Carole Termine, and they settled in Tinley Park, Illinois. After living there and Country Club Hills, Illinois, they resided in Prescott, Arizona, for the last 15 years. Rich and Carole celebrated 58 years of marriage last August. Rich was a car enthusiast and an avid Ham Radio Operator since he was a young man.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Strick. Surviving in addition to his wife, Carole (Termine) Strick, are his daughters, Cynthia Strick and her partner, Randy Auringer of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Christine (Strick) Fischer and husband, William Fischer of Tinley Park, Illinois, April (Strick) Kotlar and husband, Michael Kotlar of Ottawa, Illinois. He is much loved by his sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A casual visitation and memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at Sunrise Funeral Home, Hwy 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona. A short memorial service will begin at 1 p.m., followed by visitation from 1:30-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society or St. Germaine St. Vincent DePaul Chapter. Services in Illinois to follow at a later date.
