Edward C. Rencurel

Edward C. Rencurel, 92, went to be with Jesus, Aug. 4, 2018, after a brief stay in hospice. He was a veteran of WWII and lived in Prescott area since 1970.

Originally from Conrad, Montana, he worked at Yavapai College for 20 years prior to retiring in Chino Valley, Arizona, where his wife of 68-plus years, Helen Rencurel, still resides. He was a good provider for his family and loved the Lord and his church, Chino Valley Family Church.

His son, Gary Rencurel and wife, Cindy, reside in Texas. His oldest daughter, Robin Lewis, preceded him in 2013; and Nadine, his youngest, resides in California with her husband, Terry Washburn. His younger brother, Harry James Rencurel; and sister, Irene Becker still reside in Montana. He has three grandchildren, Quintin Rencurel with two sons; Amber Ramirez with her husband and two children; and thirdly, Miranda Ramirez with her husband and their three children.

He will be cremated and no burial or funeral will be held — per his wishes. There will be a brief memorial for friends and family during the regular Sunday worship at Chino Valley Family Church at 10 a.m. Aug. 12. Please remember in your prayers all family and friends affected by this loss.
