Native American dancers from throughout North America and local military veterans participate in a Grand Entry ceremony during the 11th annual Prescott Powwow on Saturday, Sept. 23. The Grand Entry is a means of gracing the dancing circle. Members from all tribes and dancing backgrounds participate in this procession. The Prescott Powwow will continue Sunday, Sept. 24, at Watson Lake in Prescott. A Gourd Dance will take place at 10 a.m. and a Grand Entry ceremony will take place at noon.
