The Highlands Center for Natural History’s ninth annual Wander the Wild is from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the Capital Canyon Club, 2060 Golf Club Lane.

For $100 per person or $720 for a table of eight, the event features live music, dinner and wines from Painted Lady Vineyards, Page Spring Cellars and other donors. The outdoor and adventure-themed auction is the Highland Center’s main fundraising event and includes trips to Nicaragua, Tuscany, a South African photo safari, and a tour of Napa Valley Boutique Wineries. Nature-inspired local art and educational adventures to Arizona locations are featured as well.

All proceeds will benefit the Highland Center’s youth education programs, which inspire more than 12,000 children annually.
