Blankets 4 Kids is seeking to collect enough blankets to fill 100 boxes intended for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in the Houston area.

Through the generosity of the area community, the nonprofit organization has been able to fill 75 moving boxes and would like to be able to fill at least 25 more. Every box filled will be shipped to the Catholic Charities warehouse in Houston for distribution through its network of disaster professionals and volunteers.

There are donation bins at the following locations: True Value Hardware parking lot; the Walmart Gail Gardner parking lot, the Fry’s parking lot on Willow Creek Road and the Walmart on Highway 69 parking lot. A truck will be picking up the blankets at the Sandretto Hills Storage facility on Oct. 17.
