Letter: Wonderful town

Prescott! What a wonderful town!

At Prescott Station Saturday, Oct. 14, when we finished our dinner, we were told that the young couple who had just left, had paid for our dinner. We were surprised and overwhelmed by their kindness. A heartfelt “thank you” to those generous strangers.

Because we had some time to spare before the Manhattan Dolls’ show at the Elks Theatre, we took a walk around the square, and while on Cortez Street we once again encountered the kindness of strangers. My companion tripped and fell, and was immediately surrounded by patrons, and employees from a nearby restaurant. They helped him up, got him a chair and some water, and some young ladies appeared with a first aid kit, and cleaned and bandaged the abrasions on his hand. We are filled with gratitude for such caring assistance. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all who helped.

A word about the show at the Elks theatre: We are so lucky to have in Prescott, a venue for such quality entertainment, week after week.

Yes, Prescott is a wonderful town, and it is the extraordinary people who make it so!

God bless you all.
