Letter: Overcrowding

Editor:

This might be a great topic for larger liberal communities. My wife and I lived in Prescott from 1962-67, and returned in June 2006.

In all that time, I have yet to have someone be discourteous or be a bully.

We did live in Los Angeles for five years. Rude, discourteous and outrageous behavior was a daily experience.

One of the big issues is what happens if the developers get their way here in the Prescott area?

Anyone who has fled a megalopolis can tell you about overcrowding.

Scientific studies have shown that animals change behavior when pressed into crowded conditions. Many turn violent and attack weaker members.

The created situation was supposed to be a utopia — but it did not evolve that way.
