Girl Scouts collect for local Pet Food Bank

Several Girl Scouts in Troop 852 in Prescott Valley launched a drive to collect dog and cat supplies for United Animal Friends’ Community Pet Food Bank. The girls decided to make a difference in the lives of animals and inspire others to help promote animal welfare in our community. The girls are working to achieve a Bronze Award, which is the highest honor that a Junior Girl Scout can achieve. Pictured from left are: Kiera, Madison, Erin, UAF Volunteer Vicki, Kaylee, Sydney, Troop Leader Sara, and Paityn. The girls enjoyed meeting two Shih Tzus, Dude and Fancy, who are looking for a new home through UAF.
