PLAYER OF THE YEAR: QB – Gunner Bundrick, Bradshaw Mountain: 4A Conference All-Grand Canyon Region first teamer; Grand Canyon Region Player of the Year/Offensive Player of the Year. Threw for 2,629 yards, 27 TDs and eight interceptions in 11 games. Ran for a team-best 989 yards on 121 carries, including five 100-yard games, and 13 TDs. Team-high 3,618 total yards.

RB – Olijah Sally, Bradshaw Mtn.: Rushed for 513 yards on 54 carries and seven TDs in six games after relocating from Chicago. Registered three 100-yard games. 940 all-purpose yards.

RB – Connor Pacheco, Bagdad: Rushed for team-best 672 yards on 67 carries with two 100-yard games and 11 TDs.

WR – Ryan Shaver, Bradshaw Mtn.: 4A Conference All-Grand Canyon Region first teamer. Shaver hauled in a team-best 67 receptions for 1,045 yards and 10 TDs in 11 games. Team-best 1,141 all-purpose yards.

WR – Andrew Granillo, Chino Valley: 3A Conference All-West Region first teamer. 28 catches for 500 yards with a 75-yard long and six TDs.

WR – Benjamin Loveall, Bagdad: 1A Conference first teamer. Caught 37 passes for team-high 959 yards and 18 TDs. 1,381 all-purpose yards.

RUNNER OF THE YEAR: Matt Bradley, junior, Prescott: Bradley finished in an impressive 15th place out of 211 runners at the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. He crossed the finish line in 16 minutes and 50 seconds. The Badgers placed 10th out of 29 teams at state.

John McMahon, senior, Prescott: McMahon finished 42nd out of 211 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. He crossed the finish line in 17:32.

Garrett Ward, junior, Prescott: Ward finished 71st out of 211 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. He crossed the finish line in 17:52.

Luke Fredrick, freshman, Prescott: Fredrick finished 77th out of 211 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. He crossed the finish line in 17:57.

GIRLS CROSS-COUNTRY

RUNNER OF THE YEAR: Makennah Mills, junior, Prescott: Mills placed sixth out of 204 runners at the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 19 minutes and 32 seconds, only 2:19 behind state champion Allie Schadler of Rio Rico (17:03).

Kaitlyn Kasun, freshman, Prescott: Kasun finished 13th out of 204 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 20:15.

Carissa Evans, junior, Prescott: Evans finished 35th out of 203 runners at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 20:46.

Becca Tupper, junior, Chino Valley: Tupper finished 78th out of 204 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 22:04.

Makenna Bray, freshman, Prescott: Bray finished 79th out of 204 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 22:06.

HONORABLE MENTION

Anna Zea, sophomore, Bradshaw Mtn.: Zea finished 66th out of 203 runners at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 22:10.

Mya Pullins, junior, Chino Valley: Pullins finished 93rd out of 204 runners at the AIA Division III State Championships Nov. 5 at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. She crossed the finish line in 22:27.

BOYS SWIMMING

SWIMMER OF THE YEAR: Mako Bennett, senior, Bradshaw Mtn.: Mako finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle at the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club. His time was 1 minute and 48.38 seconds. He also tied for fifth in the 100 freestyle (48.44 seconds) and was a member of the Bears’ 400 freestyle relay team that finished 15th (3:28.01).

Bradshaw claimed 20th place out of 33 teams at state.

Harris Temple, freshman, Prescott: Temple finished eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.76 seconds) at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club. In addition, he took 10th in the 100 backstroke (56.07 seconds). Temple was also a member of the Badgers’ 200 freestyle relay team (15th in finals, 1:34.07) and their 400 freestyle relay team (19th as prelims qualifier, 3:34.49). Prescott claimed 22nd place out of 33 teams at state.

Josh Baillie, freshman, Bradshaw Mtn.: Baillie was a member of Bradshaw’s 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club.

Tate Bassett, junior, Prescott: Bassett was a member of Prescott’s 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club. He was on the Badgers’ 19th-place 400 free relay team, too.

Parker Bennett, sophomore, Bradshaw Mtn.: Parker was a member of Bradshaw’s 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club.

Dallin Jex, junior, Prescott: Jex was a member of Prescott’s 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club. He was on the Badgers’ 19th-place 400 free relay team, too.

Noah Rohrbaugh, senior, Bradshaw Mtn.: Rohrbaugh was a member of Bradshaw’s 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Club.

GIRLS SWIMMING

SWIMMER OF THE YEAR: Renee Baillie, sophomore, Bradshaw Mtn.: Baillie qualified for the preliminaries of the 100-yard backstroke at the AIA Division II State Championships Nov. 4 and 5 at Mesa Aquatics Center. She finished 25th overall in the event, posting a time of 1:05.23.
