Letter: Please listen, Rep. Gosar

Editor:

Dear Representative Gosar,

I’m writing this letter in confidence you will listen to a large majority of Arizona Citizens’ concerns.

What legacy can we leave our children and grandchildren? These are issues for your consideration.

Environmental Impact — How can our state provide a stronger, energy efficient environment? Renewable energy is the present and the future. Renewable energy is the fastest growing industry in the United States. China and India are boosting ahead of us in the renewable energy industry. Imagine the benefits to our economy and the quality of life if all government representatives promoted renewable energy.

DACA — How can we provide a path toward citizenship for children of immigrants and refugees? As a social worker, I saw how these children studied in school, respected people, and had plans to contribute to our economy. They are an important part of our economy, providing services to Arizona citizens. If you eat produce grown in Arizona and California, thank immigrants, refugees and DACA children who raise, pick and sell this produce. If you use landscapers, housekeepers, food service workers and contractors, thank immigrants and DACA children for their service.

Representative Gosar, please show us your encouraging support and viable ideas in boosting our economy with renewable energy and opening a path toward DACA citizenship.

My prayers and thoughts are about you are living your true, compassionate nature in all your decisions and actions.
