Letter: Looking for a charge

In support of Clean Air and American Industry, I recently purchased a new Chevy Volt from a local Dealer. One cheap electric charge later and 50+ gasoline and pollution-free miles await.

Unlike Central Maricopa County, with revenue-generating Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at many public, shopping, college, and commercial locations. Our Quad Cities are an embarrassment by comparison.

What do we have to support keeping our air clean with increasing vehicle population numbers? One charging station in Prescott, one in Dewey, and one in Cordes Junction.

Nothing in Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and nothing else within driving distance. Remember, Charging Stations generate taxable revenue.

Support Clean Air, American Industry, and Local Business Development. Switch on the light bulb over your heads and do it now.
