Chick-fil-A coming to PV in early 2018
The long-awaited Prescott Valley Chick-fil-A will be opening in early 2018, according to a recent update from Jackie Jags, senior consultant in Public Relations for Chick-fil-A, Inc.
“Chick-fil-A is grateful to the Town (of Prescott Valley) for their assistance in the permitting process and patience as we work out construction and opening details,” Jags said this past week.
As previously reported, the new fast food restaurant will be located inside the Crossroads shopping center between Carl’s Jr. and a Sam’s Club gas station.
New stores in Bashford Courts
Mully’s Celtic Cottage has opened a second Arizona location on the third floor at Bashford Courts.
Mull’y is a retail and online store dedicated to the love of Ireland.
While traveling throughout Ireland in 2011, the owners were inspired to bring the look, feel, taste and smells of Ireland back to the U.S. with them, according to the company’s Facebook page. Some of the most popular items are Irish clothing, jewelry, foods, and Guinness brand merchandise, the page states.
Next to Mully’s is another new store called Lost In Socks. The boutique carries an eclectic selection of socks for men, women and children of all ages. Brands in stock include Stance, HotSox, K.Bell, SockSmith, Sock it to Me, Culture Socks, Tabbisocks and Gumball Poodle.
Backburner Family Restaurant in Prescott Valley will be celebrating 10 years of business on Saturday, April 29.
“We just want to thank the community for supporting us over the years,” said Kevin Calia, who owns the business with his brother Nicholas.
To celebrate the occasion, the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting on Friday, April 28, at 1 p.m. and the owners will be giving away some items on Saturday as a form of customer appreciation.
Fann Contracting awarded for philanthropic initiatives
The Arizona Community Foundation’s Pakis Center for Business Philanthropy has awarded Fann Contracting $40,000 to boost its efforts as good corporate citizens.
With employee engagement, matching gifts, and in-kind giving, Fann Contracting actively supports charities that provide assistance to adults with disabilities, individuals with health-related issues, and programs that relate to the development of children and healing for families in crisis, according to a press release.
