Prescott Brewing Company still highly ranked
Prescott Brewing Company has once again been ranked as a top 10 microbrewery in Arizona through the annual public opinion poll taken by AZBigMedia, a magazine publishing and online media firm.
The Prescott brewery has been voted in the top 10 every year since 2000, and has garnered anywhere from the No. 6 spot in 2000 up to the No. 1 spot for multiple years, and No. 5 in this 20th anniversary edition of AZBigMedia’s Ranking Arizona publication, according to a news release.
Prescott Brewing Company remains the only brewery outside of the Maricopa County area to have made it in the top 10 of Ranking Arizona’s list.
Prescott Window Coverings receives 2017 Best of Prescott Award
Prescott Window Coverings has been selected for the 2017 Best of Prescott Award in the Window Treatments category by the Prescott Award Program.
Each year, the Prescott Award Program identifies companies it believes have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category, according to a news release. The 2017 Prescott Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity.
Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Prescott Award Program and data provided by third parties.
Granite Mountain Home Health and Hospice Care renamed
Granite Mountain Home Healthcare and Hospice Care has been renamed “Kindred At Home” and “Kindred Hospice” to better reflect their participation in the nationwide Kindred Healthcare network of home health and hospice providers, nursing and rehabilitation centers and long-term acute care hospitals.
The company’s management, ownership and staff have not changed, officials said.
Following is a listing of the renamed locations (former name / new name): Granite Mountain Home Healthcare, Prescott and Cottonwood / Kindred at Home; Granite Mountain Hospice Care, Prescott and Cottonwood / Kindred Hospice; and Granite Mountain Personal Care, Prescott and Cottonwood / Kindred at Home.
Talking Rock Ranch featured in Where to Retire magazine
Talking Rock Ranch, located north of Prescott off Williamson Valley Road, has been awarded a Best Neighborhood designation by Where to Retire magazine.
The award recognizes outstanding master-planned and active-adult communities, according to a news release. To be considered, the community has to be actively selling homes and have many or most amenities in place.
A profile of the development will be in the May/June issue, available nationwide on April 11.
