Jacob Wesley Brandon Hargett

Jacob Wesley Brandon Hargett (also known as Jake) Born Sept.15, 1985.

Sadly Jacob lost his three and a half year battle to a rare cancer on Friday Sept. 23, 2016.

Jacob was an amazing man, he touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a very loving, caring, kind man. He inspired all. He was the kind of friend who would take the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was such a genuine unique individual. Jacob was a member of local band Sacred Asylum. He was very passionate about his music and guitars. He loved to be on stage and performing for others. Even if it was just a jam session at home, music was one of the things that made him the happiest.

Jacob was an extraordinary son, brother and uncle. He always made time for his family, even on days when he wasn’t feeling well he loved to play with his nephews and niece. He would also jam out with his oldest nephew and biological father Lou. The family would usually do a Saturday morning breakfast at Waffles N’ More. There were very few times he would miss a family breakfast.

Jacob is survived by his parents Frank and Barbara Hargett; oldest sister Cheryle. youngest sister Corinne (Cori) his only niece Courtney Delilah 8, and four nephews Nimay 20, Colton, 10, Matthew, 10, and Michael 5.

The Hargett family wants to give a heartfelt Thank you to Hospice Of The Pines for the exceptional care and love they gave to Jacob while they cared for him. The team who worked with him became family in the year and four months he was in their care.
