Every so often, we are lucky enough to meet animals who remind us of the power of a second chance. Roy is one of those animals. This 4-year-old, gray male tabby has had anything but an easy life, but he’s living proof that a new opportunity can make all the difference in the world. Roy came to United Animal Friends after several difficult years as a stray. Possible exposure to abuse has made him a bit shy, but Roy’s resiliency is nothing short of amazing; this handsome boy will gladly indulge in a pampering session once he knows you. Like his spirit, his physical wounds are evidence of his strength. An injured ear is now healed, and even though he had to have some teeth removed due to infection, he still eats happily and without problem. This vaccinated, neutered boy would likely adapt to a home with a friendly dog, though he certainly deserves to be the center of attention. Help us show Roy that his second chance will be worth the wait!
As the UAF Superstar of the Week, Roy’s adoption fee is $20 to a UAF-approved home. If you have questions about Roy, please contact Jann at 602-402-7404 or firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also read more about him by visiting the UAF website: www.UnitedAnimalFriends.org.
