Rep. Noel Campbell, Supervisor Chip Davis and David Stringer,

During their luncheon meeting Tuesday, July, 19, 2016, at the Prescott Resort, Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP) recognized Honor Flight Arizona. WWII Navy veteran Chuck Webster gave a heartfelt accounting of his visit to the Washington DC War Memorials made possible through Honor Flight Arizona and donations by RWOP Members. Also in attendance and recognized were other WWII Veterans that made the flight including Bill Schraeder, Anna Parker at 99 years young and Shucree Hassan. Arizona Honor Flight Board Members included President, Rick Hardina, Susan Howe and Karen Friddle.

In keeping with RWOP’s mission to educate their membership, two candidate forums were presented. Candidates for US Congress: incumbent, Congressman Dr. Paul Gosar and opponent Buckeye City Councilman, Ray Strauss were first to present their views and answer questions. Candidates for Legislature District 1 (LD1): incumbent Representative Noel Campbell and opponents YC Supervisor, Chip Davis and Mr. David Stringer finished the forum with a lively question and answer session. RWOP members and guests were presented with each candidate’s qualifications and views for consideration.
