A longtime Prescott tradition returns to courthouse plaza this weekend, July 16-17: The 25th annual Friends of Williamson Valley Fire Department Arts & Crafts Show.
The event, which features handmade and hand-worked items, runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17, said Chief Bryan Smith.
“Everything’s handmade,” he said.
The event is a fundraiser for the WVFD, with part of the proceeds going to buy needed equipment and the rest going to the Prescott Area Training Group, which helps train all local firefighters.
The show usually raises about $10,000 for WVFD and between $4,000 and $5,000 for the training group, Smith said: “It works out well for all of us.”
He encourages everyone to come on out to support local artists and downtown businesses.
