“How to Improve Your Health Through Movement & Fitness – My Experience” is a free Senior Connection Speakers Bureau presentation to occur Thursday, July 7 from noon to 1 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1202 Green Lane in Prescott.
Presenter Mary Heller, BeMoved® & Gentle BeMoved®, will explain how Creative Aging utilizes movement and fitness helps combat isolation, promotes socialization and improves gait. She will explain the benefits and demonstrate various movement modalities including chair yoga, tai chi, martial arts (karate), improv and dance, and she’ll discuss the benefits of walking, running and cycling.
