Obituary: Eugene Henry O’Sullivan

Eugene Henry O’Sullivan, 89, passed away on Dec. 7th, 2016, in Prescott, Arizona after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Charlotte, son Steven, daughter Kathleen, and three sisters Maureen, Sharon, and Sheila. Eugene was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During the 2nd World War he served in the Navy aboard the USS Pensacola. After WWII he attended the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with a B.S. degree. Eugene lived in Palo Alto, California and worked as a retailer in San Francisco for many years. Later, he and his wife ran a successful retail business in San Jose and San Carlos, California. After retiring, Eugene and his wife made Prescott, Arizona their home. As an amateur genealogist, he researched and self-published an extensive family history: “Ancestors and Associated Families of the O’Sullivan Family”. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking, and needlepoint work. Eugene will be dearly missed by all who knew him. No memorial service will be held per his request.
