Dine out for a cause on Thursday, April 28

Northland Cares HIV Clinic is hosting Dining Out For Life 2016 in Prescott and Prescott Valley on Thursday, April 28.

Ten restaurants that evening will be donating a portion of their sales in support of services for people living with HIV/AIDS in northern Arizona.

The restaurants participating and the percentage of their sales being donated are: BiGA. (20 percent), Bill’s Pizza (10 percent), Blackboard Café (10 percent), Deano’s Sweet Potato Café (10 percent), El Charro Mexican Cantina (15 percent), El Gato Azul (to be determined), Peacock Room at Hassayampa Inn (10 percent), Mogie’s Mongolian Grill (15 percent), SueAnn’s Apple Pan (25 percent) and Iron Springs Café (20 percent).

Every restaurant except for Blackboard Café has participated in previous years.

“It just seemed like a good cause, so we jumped on board,” said head chef and daughter of the owner Denise Atkins.

All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated directly to HIV clinics in northern Arizona.

Northland Cares HIV Clinic provides a full range of outpatient services for people living with HIV/AIDS in northern Arizona.
