Cats can be mysterious creatures, but one thing about them is certain: they are masters of adaption! Just consider Survivor, a gorgeous, medium-haired brown tabby who is just about one year old. She was surrendered by her owner with a broken leg that required surgery; that surgery left her with some hardware in her rear right leg, as well as a slight limp that she will likely have for the rest of her life. Now, a member of another species might have despaired with this physical issue, but not Survivor! She has acclimated perfectly. She is loving, vocal and friendly – she even likes other animals, though her leg prevents her from very active play.
Survivor currently lives at United Animal Friends’ Kitty City at Petco in Prescott. Visiting hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, as well as 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. As the UAF Superstar of the Week, Survivor’s adoption fee is $20 to a UAF approved home. If you have questions about Survivor, you can call Ruth at 928-379-1088 or visit the UAF website: www.UnitedAnimalFriends.org.
