Thursday, Oct. 29

The Great Art of Pumpkin Carving Competition, Pumpkin carving and decorating competition: drop off your carved or decorated pumpkin along with a $2 cash entry fee per pumpkin at the museum between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. There are two categories: carved and decorated. Entry fee is $2 cash per pumpkin. Each category will be awarded first, second and third place prizes. Pumpkins may not contain foul language, nudity or disturbing images. The winning pumpkins in each category will be those with the most Facebook likes as of 4 p.m. on Oct. 31. Pumpkins can be picked up between 3 and 4 p.m. on Nov. 1. All remaining pumpkins will be disposed of.

Saint Luke's Episcopal Church is offering a fun and safe way for families to enjoy Halloween. from 4 to 7 p.m., at 2000 Shepherds Lane, Prescott.
