Though Tara Thai was open for a number of years in Prescott Valley, the restaurant is celebrating its one-year anniversary of business in downtown Prescott, 115 S. Cortez St. Open all day on Saturday, Oct. 17, the restaurant is hosting this anniversary party with special events and pricing.
The restaurant offers a fine dining experience across the street from courthouse plaza, and Kristina Good thanks those who followed from Prescott Valley as well as new patrons, according to her news release.
Events on Saturday will begin with a wine tasting from noon to 3 p.m. But that's not all that's going to happen, she said.
"For Saturday only, we will be bringing back some of your favorites that are not on our menu, and have some of your current favorites at specially priced anniversary prices," the release said. "If you miss the wine tasting in the afternoon, come by in the evening and try a glass or two of the wines that were tasted during the day at a discounted price."
And there's music. Denise Nasso and Albert Sarko of Opus will play dual pianos starting at 5:30 p.m. Nasso moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Arizona and has performed solo and with many musical groups in the state. Sarko lives in Prescott and teaches piano, bass, guitar, saxophone, jazz improvisation and songwriting.
