On Oct. 19, 2015, Heaven welcomed Rosella Goulding. She was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rose was born on Sept. 17, 1917 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was one of eight children born to Constance and John Dramesi. Rose was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. She lived in California for the majority of her life, where she raised three children and a grandson. Rose moved to Prescott Valley 10 years ago to be close to her daughter and son-in-law, Constance and James Endward, and to enjoy her grandson Emilio DeSimone, his wife Lara and their children Emilio Jr. and Rosella who live in Chino Valley.
In addition, she is survived by her son, Salvatore DeSimone and his son Nickolas DeSimone, both reside in California.
Rose had many challenges in her 99 years. Her oldest son died at a very young age and she was widowed twice. Both husbands, Salvatore DeSimone and Louis Goulding, were fine men.
In spite of those sad times she also maintained an optimistic attitude and always had a smile and kind word for those around her. She loved life and was greatly admired and loved by her family and many friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will remain forever in our hearts.
Funeral services were entrusted to Wakelin Family Funeral Homes. Please visit www.ruffnerwakelin.com to view and sign Rose's guestbook.
