Letter: Posse helps scholars

EDITOR:

The Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff's Posse had its 38th annual Scholars Need Dollars benefit and would like to say "Thanks" to all who supported our efforts through donations and especially to those who purchased tickets for this event.

Throughout the years, the YCMSP has raised over $489,000 in educational grants to deserving students in Yavapai County.

The Posse would like to thank Cathy, Joan and Steve from the Prescott Adult Center for working with us to host this event, what a wonderful facility. Also, thanks to Meals on Wheels and their staff and special thanks to Brad and his crew from Texas Roadhouse for their preparation and serving of a wonderful dinner. Thank you again for helping us make this annual event such a great success.

We also appreciate the many donations from Leff-T's Steakhouse and Grill, Pudge and Asti's Sports Bar, Waffles-N-More - Jamie's Express, Blue Hills Café, Plaza Bonita, Dinner Bell, Hensley and Company, Geoffrey's Fine Jewelry, Pat Gregory Hot Dogs, Palace Restaurant and Saloon, Aquarius Casino and Resort, Windsock Lounge, La Bruzza's Italian Restaurant, Hampton Funeral Home, Big Daddy's BBQ, BransaSole, Bill Neely, and John Cometh.

With special recognition for our bucket raffle items: Owl's Auto Body and Paint, Nancy Hestera, Annie and Harper Sharp, Perkinsville Meat Processing, Arizona Cardinals Football Organization and Katie Kring.

Thanks again for your continued support.
