On Friday, Feb. 20, my wife and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary with dinner at the Red Lobster on Highway 69 in Prescott. We are in our 80s. The waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and we told her our anniversary. The young couple seated in the next booth overheard and as they left, wished us a Happy Anniversary. Later, as we prepared to leave, our waitress said, "I have a wonderful surprise. The couple who had wished you a Happy Anniversary had donated $50 toward our meal." We were both so surprised that we were on the verge of tears.
May God bless you both for your thoughtfulness and generosity. A simple thank you does not adequately express our appreciation for your generosity. Again, thank you, and when the opportunity presents itself, we will certainly "Pass it on."
