Narcissa U. Ybarra (Narci), 81, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona. Narci was born in Clarkdale, Arizona on June 11, 1934, to Rufino and Juanita Uribe.

She graduated from Mingus High School in Jerome, Arizona in 1953. On Oct. 13, 1953, Narci married the love of her life, Arturo Ybarra. The couple moved to Prescott in 1959, where they raised their four children. Narci worked primarily as a cook. The Ybarra home was known to many of her children's friends as "the best hot tortillas and beans" anywhere. Nanci worked at Eagle Drug Store and the Hotel St. Michael at various times. She retired after working at Yavapai College for a total of 17 years. In May of 2001, Narci received an award for "Exceptional Dedication in the Community" from the Prescott Cinco de Mayo Committee and Harmonize Prescott.

Narci was preceded in death by her parents, Rufino and Juanita Uribe; and her brother Cristobal Uribe. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Arturo Ybarra; and her children, Mary Reininger; Irene Perez, Arthur Ybarra and Becky Munguia; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom were the biggest joys in her life. Narci is also survived by three sisters; and one brother.

A Mass will be at 10 a.m. on July 31, 2015, at St. Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church, 2062 N. State Route 89, Chino Valley, Arizona, followed by graveside services at Mt. View Cemetery, 1051 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Arizona.
