As the Prescott Valley Community Garden gears up for another year, consider that if you have an interest in gardening and helping others, we need you.

Rental plots are available for $40, plus a $15 deposit for a 4-foot by 15-foot plot. Rent includes the automatic drip irrigation system, and the produce is yours.

With the rental, we ask that you commit to 20 hours helping in the community garden. The community garden grows produce for the local food bank.

In one year alone, the Prescott Valley Community Garden, with the help of dedicated volunteers, donated over 6,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables to the Yavapai Food Bank.

If you are interested in helping us meet our goals for this year, visit our website at pvcommunitygarden.org, call 979-575-2101 or email pvcommunitygarden1@gmail.com.

We encourage you to come out and be a part of making a difference in the Prescott Valley.
