The General George Crook chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed Arizona State Regent, Gillian Morse to their March 18 meeting in Prescott. A check was presented to State Regent Morse in support of her state project - $1,000 scholarships, presented to high school senior women planning to further their education at a school of higher learning. The school may be any community college or four-year college or university in the State of Arizona. The applicants must be U.S. citizens who plan to major in American History, economics, government, civics, political science or business. For specific criteria, current deadline and application you may contact the General George Crook chapter. Other guests attending included Arizona State Officers, Vice Regent, Terri Mott; Chaplain, Marilou Fellman; Organizing Secretary, Joyce Wold; Librarian Kathy Machmer and Liaison/other Lineage Societies, Lee Nelson.
