Fann Contracting, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) - Prescott/Prescott Valley, the Federal Highways Administration (FHWA), and their project partners were recently awarded three separate 2013 Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence awards.
Partnering has become a formal process on construction projects, design efforts, and other teaming relationships that establish a collaborative approach to teamwork to achieve measurable results through agreements and productive working relationships, a news release states.
On today's projects, resources and time are precious. Successful partnerships conserve resources and allow for creative solutions that benefit the project and the project team as a whole.
Partnering has become more of a formal proactive process where the owner, contractor, subcontractors, designer, and other project partners and stakeholders work together to solve problems and achieve top-rated results on their projects with regard to quality, safety, schedule, teamwork, and issue resolution.
