Senate Leader Taylor to talk about Duval on Wednesday

PRESCOTT - Leah Landrum Taylor, the Democratic Minority Leader in the Arizona Senate, will speak about Fred Duval, Democratic candidate for Governor in 2014, at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Democratic Women of the Prescott Area (DWPA) on Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. at Stoneridge Country Club.

Taylor has served as an Arizona State Senator for District 16 in Phoenix since 2006. Prior to that, she was a member of the state House of Representatives in the same area from 1999 to 2006. At Arizona State University, she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in political science and attended Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

DWPA luncheons are at Stoneridge from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost $15. Meal or seat reservations required. Email dwpamail@aol.com.
