Frances Elizabeth Bennier died Nov. 5, 2013, at the Marley House in Prescott, Ariz. She was born May 5, 1918, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of George E. and Fanny (Oeschler) Howard. Frances was 95 year old.
Frances was a benefactor to many people as a volunteer at YRMC and especially to students in the secondary educational program at Cal State University in Long Beach when she was the secretary for the department. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and for many years with Waldo prayed in the Adoration Chapel from 2 to 3 a.m.
Frances is survived by Waldo, her husband of 44 years; sons Al (Janice) Verdun of Placentia, Calif., and Michael (Shelly) of Oregon; and stepson Barry (Janet) Bennier of Georgia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, followed by a Rosary service at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury, Prescott.
Final Commenda-tion and Farewell will be at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Long Beach, Calif.
