Obituary: Charles "Chuck" Lloyd Grover
Charles "Chuck" Charles Lloyd Grover, 83, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Dec. 20, 2013, at Hospice of the Valley with family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and William Grover, sister Florence Andreus and daughter Penny Pyle. He is survived by his wife Lucille Grover; sisters Della (Wally) Cluff of Bemidji, Minn., and Bonnie (Denny) Stebe of Little Falls, Minn.; brother Harley (Pat) Grover of Spring Lake Park, Minn.; sons Michael (Mary) Eakins of Renton, Wash., and Randy (Fran) Grover of East Bethel, Minn.; daughters Pat (Wayne) Brown of Rochester, Minn., and Laurel (Bill) Adams of Eager, Ariz.; as well as 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Chuck was born on Jan. 24, 1931, in Bemidji, Minn. He graduated from Bemidji High School later to be inducted into Bemidji High School's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. He attended Drake University and went on to establish his own business in the construction field. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he spent 53 years sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with everyone he met. He will be remembered as a "most loving grandfather."
Memorial services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15249 N 75th Ave., Peoria, Ariz.
