Country performer releases music video, hosts concert

Nolan Sturdevant, a local country artist who released his debut album "Country Dreams" last year, will be releasing a new music video and performing a concert from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Hot Spot Nail Spa at the Firehouse Plaza in Prescott.

Sturdevant's debut album includes covers of several recent country hits and classics.

Sturdevant, a 2010 Prescott High School graduate and Prescott native, was a finalist in Prescott Idol 2012 and 2011 and among the top eight performers in the Texaco Country Showdown 2012.

Sturdevant has played roles in many musical productions around town, including Ryan Evans in Young Star Musical Theatre's "High School Musical" and Enjolras in Prescott High School's "Les Miserables." Nolan also performs with the Yavapai College Chamber Singers.
