Rex VanWormer

Rex VanWormer went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2011, while surrounded by his family in his home. Rex was born April 8, 1953, in Prescott to Richard and Renee VanWormer.

Rex is survived by his wife Renee; son Marc (Kenzie); daughter Corrie (Casey) Carr; grandchildren, Macey, Camerann, Kennedy, Macall, Marley and Macgraw; his mother, Renee VanWormer; brother Tracy; sister Nancy Little; and his loving, caring Iowa family.

He was a general contractor and founded Aspen Valley Homes. Rex enjoyed hiking, racquetball, hunting, quading and camping with his family. He loved having fun and enjoyed planning family adventures. Rex and Renee shared 34 wonderful years together and provided their family with a lifetime of love and priceless memories. Rex had a deep love for the Lord and touched many lives by leading Bible studies and prison ministry for many years. He was passionate about helping others.

Rex's life will be celebrated with an open house at his home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
