Prescott police seek two suspects who stole 50 to 75 unused auto batteries valued at $1,125 early Friday morning from a padlocked storage area at the Walmart on Gail Gardner Way.
At 4:22 a.m., two men wearing dark shirts were filmed on a surveillance camera getting out of a Dodge four-door crew cab truck with a black bed liner with chrome wheels and a running board backed up to the storage area, according to the Prescott Police Department.
The men are seen moving behind the truck, and three minutes later it drives away, according to the police report.
An auto service manager told an officer that the Walmart on Highway 69 experienced a similar burglary a month or two ago, police said.
