The Dewey-Humboldt Town Library will play host to a Thanksgiving-themed arts and crafts activity for children ages 8-12 at the Kate Garber Activity Center, 13000 Prescott St., on Saturday.
Mary Harbeck, the library's arts and crafts coordinator, will lead participants in constructing brightly-colored leaves using tissue paper, wax paper and glue.
In addition, children will be making their own individual pumpkin pies, toasting pumpkin seeds and joining in on a book reading about the Thanksgiving holiday.
For more information about Saturday's event, including times and registration, call the library at 632-5049 or drop by the complex at 2735 S. Corral St. in Humboldt.
To get to the library from Prescott Valley, drive southeast on Highway 69 for about 10 miles to Humboldt and turn left onto Main Street. After traveling less than a mile, hang a left on Prescott Street and then another left into the big parking lot just past Corral Street.
