One hundred and sixty-seven people celebrated at the City of Prescott Parks and Recreation's Special Needs Activity Program's prom on Saturday, May 15, at the Grace Sparkes Activity Center.

Helping Hands sponsored the event, whose theme was "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and provided 63 pizzas and salad for participants, said Cindy Rowan, director of the Special Needs Activity Program.

Ten Target employees pinned flower corsages on partygoers as they came through the front door, Rowan said.

Three Prescott High School students help serve guests and everyone danced the night away, Rowan said.

Marisa Oldham Photography took photos of promgoers.

"It takes a village to make a dance run so smoothly," Rowan said. "We live in a great village."
