The Trail's trials: The Peavine route has a history of challenges
Courtesy/Sharlot Hall Museum<br>The Point of Rocks location, now a prominent spot on the Peavine Trail, was once the site of a bustling station (the Prescott and Eastern Junction), where passengers could switch trains to go to Crown King. Today the Point of Rocks is the backdrop for Prescott's Peavine Trail, which attracts thousands of hikers, cyclists and horseback riders each year.
