Sci-fi/action/drama.•• THE FINAL DESTINATION 3D - A teen has a horrific premonition in which he and his friends are killed by flaming wreckage at a car race. As a result, he's able to avert their fate... at least temporarily. But death doesn't like to be cheated, and comes after them. Cast: Shantel VanSanten, Bobby Campo, Haley Webb, Nick Zano. Rated R for strong violent/gruesome accidents, language and a scene of sexuality. Horror/Thriller.• FOOD INC. - Filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies. Documentary.• FUNNY PEOPLE - A famous comedian has a near-death experience in this Judd Apatow-helmed comedy. Cast: Jonah Hill, Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann. Comedy.•• G-FORCE - Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA - From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. Joe team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to prevent the mysterious COBRA organization from plunging the world into chaos. Cast: Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Marlon Wayans. Rated PG-13 for strong sequences of action violence and mayhem throughout. Action/adventure.• THE GOODS: LIVE HARD, SELL HARDSelling cars, drinking, and going to strip clubs is the stock and trade of Don Ready and his ragtag crew. And they do it well. Cast: Jeremy Piven, Ving Rhames, James Brolin. Rated R for sexual content, nudity, pervasive language and some drug material. Comedy.•• HALLOWEEN 2 - Hockey-masked serial Michael Myers truly never dies if the endless movie franchise is any indication. This remake is helmer Rob Zombie's sequel to his 2007 adaptation of the classic 1978 horror-thriller. Cast: Malcolm McDowell, Margaret Kidder, "Weird Al" Yankovic. Rated R for strong brutal bloody violence throughout, terror, disturbing graphic images, language, crude sexual content and nudity. Horror.•• INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS - Quentin Tarantino-style revenge plans against the Nazis unfold in this World War II-set action-adventure. Cast: Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Melanie Laurent. Rated R for strong graphic violence, language and brief sexuality. Action-adventure.• •• JULIE & JULIA - This film intercuts between the lives of iconic 1960s TV chef Julia Child and a modern-day young woman who blogs about recreating Child's recipes. Cast: Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci. Rated PG-13 for brief strong language and some sensuality. Comedy/drama.• LOCAL COLOR - A young man who dreams of becoming a painter asks a famously reclusive artist to help him reach his goal. Drama.• MOON - Astronaut Sam Bell is living on the far side of the moon, about to return home upon completion a three-year contract - only to meet a younger, angrier version of himself, who claims to be there to fulfill the same three-year contract. Sci-fi/Action.• A PERFECT GETAWAY - An adventurous young couple backpacks to a beautiful remote beach, only to learn there's a pair of serial killers on the loose. Cast: Timothy Olyphant, Milla Jovovich, Kiele Sanchez, Chris Hemsworth. Rated R for graphic violence, language including sexual references and some drug use. Horror/thriller.• PONYO - Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid," "Ponyo" is the story of a young, overeager goldfish named Ponyo and her quest to become human. Animated/family.•• POST GRAD - A college grad's rival ruins her perfectly planned life and she's forced to live with her eccentric family and come up with a new life strategy. Comedy.•• TAKING WOODSTOCK - A young man in 1969 finds himself at the center of a generation-defining music festival when he gets the producers to hold it near his parents' motel.
