Yavapai College to present Fall Choral Union Concert

The Yavapai College Music Department will present a Choral Concert featuring the five YC choirs. Also performing will be a guest choir, the High Mountain Chordsmen under the direction of Sam Stimple. The concert will be at 3 p.m. today in the Performance Hall on the college campus.

In addition to the special appearance of the guest choir, the program will include a collection of traditional songs and spirituals presented by the Community Chorale under Darrell Rowader's direction; Dr. Will Fisher and the women's choir Angelorum will perform three songs in varying styles; and the combined Chamber Choir and Vocal Ensemble directed by Dr. Fisher will present a medley from Frank Wildhorn's musical "Jekyll and Hyde." After the intermission, the Master Chorale under Darrell Rowader's direction will perform Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria."

Admission is $5, free for age 14 and younger. Tickets may be purchased in the YC Art Gallery.
